I found your blog on citydata.com, and I'm hoping you can help me out. I've been looking through the forums on Tampa on there... I'm considering a move to Florida for a variety of reasons, but one thing I really want in my new city is a good live music scene. I was hoping you could fill me in on what it's like where you're at. If you have a chance, would you email me? efotlotras@yahoo.com. I'd appreciate it alot! Thanks!
For a small city like Tampa, the live music scene is HUGE! I think these links can show most of what is offered in the Bay area. They both contain calendars, venue information, news, etc...let me know if this helps.

Lives can often run in parallel. I was just there myself and returned to a balmy 80 degrees here in Tampa - a nice juxtaposition.
